Cookie’s Rescue is a small London-based dog rescue organisation.

We primarily work with Lebanese rescue cases, funding urgent veterinary needs and rehoming dogs in Canada and the U.K.

The abuse that the dogs of Lebanon experience is recognised by the rescue community to be some of the most severe levels of mistreatment and cruelty that street dogs experience across the globe. We’ve seen, first hand, cruelty that involves dogs being used as target practice, having hot tar poured over them, having their ears, noses and eyes cut out and being savagely beaten. Despite this country’s dogs being recognised as being in desperate need of support, much of the Western world’s eyes have fallen blind to their cries for help.

Rescuing and rehabilitating Lebanese dogs faces a myriad of problems; corruption, the high costs of inter-country transportation and tough government guidelines being just a few. Despite this, we continue to hold a significant focus on rescuing within this country and supporting shelters and animals in dire need.

This country’s dogs first took our hearts, and we’ll continue to support them in any which way we can if you’ll continue donating to our cause.
