Help Save Hana the Shiba
Donation protected
Hana the Shiba Inu was born on Oct 13, 2017. She's the smallest of a litter of 3, but also the spunkiest and the fastest crawler.
Just before turning 3 weeks old, we had to rush her to Emergency Services for a case of rectal prolapse. ("A condition in which one or more layers of the rectum protrude through the anus." "The condition commonly occurs in young dogs that have severe diarrhea or that routinely strain to defecate.")
Hana was supposed to have a simple procedure to manually replace her rectum, place a stitch to hold things together, and come home in a few hours, but she had a rare case that failed. Our initial $500 outpatient procedure has now grown into a $3200-$4000 overnight surgery where damaged sections of tissue would be removed and the remaining sections of intestinal tissue would be reconnected.
Hana needs this surgery to save her life, and at 3 weeks old she has so much ahead of her. Please if you could donate just a few dollars or share our page to help save her, it would mean so much to us.
Any extra funds will surely be donated to a local shelter to help more pets.
