Hi, my name is Kathryn. I am fundraising to help a cafe that most people in Maryhill will know and have grown up with. In the early hours of Thursday 12th September a fire broke out in this cafe and destroyed a small family run business. Any donations no matter how small or big would be greatly appreciated to help this family get there small family business back up and running. I have started a go fund me page for James and his family because he’s served us all in the community for 30 years plus and just as a small incentive to let him know the community are behind him 100%. Since I was a little girl he has owned the cafe always visited regularly and still do as an adult, my mum works in this cafe as well so I’ve known James for a lot of years. I’ve spoke to Sharon and James regarding the go fund me page and they are over whelmed at the generosity of the Maryhill community, as soon as I can start withdrawing funds I will be passing them straight over to James.
