Two years ago, my husband and I bought a small ranch in hopes to give back to our community. My husband is a combat-disabled veteran that struggles with severe PTSD and service-related injuries. We have overcome these life challenges by grounding ourselves in outdoor activities and surrounding ourselves with animals. We brought Jericho to our home in December 2022 to be one of our service animals at our Charlie Foxtrot Ranch. Specifically catering to military, first responders, and their families. He's five and a half months old. He has developed a severe infection in his lungs and is critically ill. He's currently getting treatment at a nearby equine emergency hospital. He is fighting for his life and we want to support him as best we can. It's only been one day and the expenses are already in the thousands.
