Help Save Jesse’s Uniforms: A Legacy of Care and Community
Donation protected
In 1990, my aunts Stefany and Vita, two determined immigrant Latinas from Peru opened Jesse’s Uniforms at the corner of Lake and Washington. Built on their shared passion for helping others, the store became a cornerstone for the Pasadena community, providing medical uniforms to countless healthcare workers who dedicate their lives to caring for others.
Our family is made up of nurses—caring for others is in our DNA. During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, Jesse’s Uniforms remained open, ensuring our local medical staff had what they needed to continue their life saving work. We’ve weathered countless challenges over the years, but the most recent disaster has brought us to the brink.
Smoke, ash, and debris from up Lake ave the Eaton fire caused extensive damage to our store. My aunt Stefany is now ill from the exposure. In the wake of the devastation we were forced to clear everything out to assess damages, but as a small, family-run business, we simply cannot afford the repairs needed to reopen.
For over three decades, Jesse’s Uniforms has been a testament to the strength, resilience, and dedication of two incredible women I am proud to call my aunts. They built this store to serve others, and now we’re humbly asking for your support to keep their dream alive.
Your generosity can make all the difference. With your help, we can repair the store and continue to provide for the healthcare workers who give so much to our community.
Thank you for your kindness and for helping us honor the legacy of Jesse’s Uniforms.
