For 25 years at La Mansion Inn , our motto has been “Come as a guest, leave as a friend.” Now, La Mansion Inn needs you as a friend and supporter, to survive these unprecedented times.
If you've never stayed at the hotel, we're a 5-star, boutique hotel with a spectacular view of Manuel Antonio National Park in Quepos, Costa Rica.
Building and operating La Mansion Inn has been my greatest privilege and represents my life’s work. After 25 years, having served tens of thousands of guests, COVID-19 is threatening La Mansion Inn’s continued existence.
With tourism halted and no guests arriving at the hotel since March, I have been forced to drain LMI's financial reserves and make the painful decision to close the hotel doors until late November. My goal is to keep the hotel operational until I am able to welcome guests again but that requires funds that simply don’t exist. I have already been forced to make heartbreaking personnel decisions and, at present, am operating with minimal staff. I’m not too proud to admit that at 69 years old with a double knee replacement, I’m not as capable a staff member as I once was myself.
I believe and remain hopeful that, with financial assistance, I can reopen the hotel in November making LMI, once again, a tasted of paradise for guests from around the world.
To do that, I need your help.
La Mansion Inn needs $100,000 for the next three months to finish our in-progress construction, continue paying my skeleton staff, cover utilities, and ultimately, prepare to reopen. If you harbor fond memories of your time at La Mansion Inn, the carefree Pura Vida lifestyle we once shared, or simply feel the pull to support a small business in a time of dire circumstance, I would be forever grateful for your support.
