LIA TETRAULT’S STORY

Hello, Soundview Saviors! I am Lia Tetreault, the owner of the Soundview Deli and Grocery Store at 3711 West Mukilteo Blvd in Everett. The Edgewater Bridge Closure has caused a lot of difficulties and inconveniences for many residents living in this area. However, I do respect the decision of the City of Everett to replace the old bridge, which was probably becoming dangerous.

On 10-31-24, the day after the Mukilteo Blvd became blocked by the Bridge closure, I Iost ninety per cent (90%) of my business.

As you might imagine, as the owner of the Soundview Deli and Grocery, the Bridge Detour has made me both anxious and scared!

I have had to lay off two (2) employees. And a third employee, who used to work 5 days/week, is now working only 2 days per week.

Furthermore, many items in the Store are beginning to expire. Thus, items that are needed by customers are going to be thrown away.

A year ago, I invested everything that I had to buy the Soundview Deli and Grocery business. The Soundview quickly became my whole life. Yet, I'm afraid that it is going to disappear unless I get immediate support!

Please help me get through this difficult time!
