Help Save lives in Nepal from COVID-19
HELP SAVE LIVES IN NEPAL
Abi Kattel Memorial Foundation is partnering with the Midtown Rotary Club of Kathmandu, Nepal to try and help stem the deaths and pain caused by COVID-19 by donating oxygen concentrators /or medicine, masks and other necessary items to those that need it in Nepal’s healthcare system.
A dreadful second wave of COVID -19 pandemic has engulfed Nepal and its healthcare system. Nepal’s pandemic situation and death toll is worsening every day, and 45 % of new tests return positive. The government of Nepal estimates positive cases to cross 900,000 by the end of the year. The shortage of hospital beds, medicine, ventilators, and oxygen is the main cause of death and weakens the already fragile healthcare system of Nepal.
Nepal's people need help. Oxygen cylinders, masks, and protective equipment are in severe shortage. The target of this campaign goes directly to the healthcare system and those that need it most - depending upon the amount raised funds will be used to:
1) Acquire oxygen concentrators and ship them to Nepal for use with COVID-19 centers and hospitals.
2) Support rationing and provide medicine, masks, daily grocery supplies to COVID-19 affected areas for underserved people.
Abi Kattel Memorial Foundation, a registered 501c3 charitable foundation. regularly raises funds for educational and humanitarian purposes, and has previously partnered in the rebuilding of schools after the devastating earthquakes in Nepal. The Midtown Rotary Club of Kathmandu, Nepal has been actively involved with the covid relief activities.
Join us in this collective effort to help reduce the effects of the COVID-19 hardship in Nepal. Please Donate - No amount is too small.
