We urgently need your support to save WMXP 95.5 Community Radio, Greenville's source for independent media and megaphone for the marginalized! The Malcolm X Center For Human Rights - WMXP 95.5 Community Radio has an immediate need of $2,158.57 to pay rent for equipment storage in Greenville, SC. If these funds cannot be raised, the equipment will be sent to public auction.
The goal of this GoFundMe is set at $2,500 to cover this cost along with other expenses related to storage and maintenance of the center and community radio station. Any funds in excess of this goal will be used to support the center, which has served Upstate South Carolina as a volunteer grassroots community-owned and operated human rights multimedia & action center since 1991.
Additional Information about the Malcolm X Center for Human Rights - WMXP-LP 95.5 Community Radio can be found at www.wmxp955.org or on Facebook at www.facebook.com/MXCenterforSelfDetermination.

"SOS!!! Giving Tuesday is less than two weeks away!
On December 1st, we hope you’ll consider The Malcolm X Center – WMXP /95.5 Community Radio among the causes you choose to support. Over the past 10 years the Malcolm X Center – WMXP Community Radio has been an independent source of information and a megaphone for the marginalized. Because of Covid-19, we were not able to have the 2020 Malcolm X Festival, our annual fundraiser. These funds are used to cover equipment storage, fees and licenses, and educational material. You can help power this capacity building freedom effort by donating to WMXP/95.5 Community Radio Station and Malcolm X Center for Human Rights. 100% of your contribution will be used to keep the Malcolm X Center -WMXP Community Radio alive, on task.
Contributions of any size are sorely needed, deeply appreciated, and can be made at:

CashApp: $StolenLives
Many Thanks, Efia Nwangaza"
