I pick her up tomorrow! They'll be running one more blood panel and removing the sutures before I get there. She's recovered quite quickly.

The vet I was taken to is cheaper than the emergency veterinary clinic. DO NOT DONATE FOR NOW. I will update on Thursday if I still need help, but I think I have enough now for everything concerning Meika.

She's at the vet now. She'll be in until Thursday, March 27th.

She's doing well still and is moving around. Unfortunately, she did get a cut on her prolapse, meaning she will need stitches. Thankfully, it doesn't appear to me that there's any form of necrotic tissue, so I think the costs might be lowered. I will update this again after I drop her off at the vet to get her operation and treatments, and when I get a quote.

March 22nd, today. I found out that Meika (age 4) has a prolapsed anus. I lost everything recently and I am currently living paycheck to paycheck as I restart my life at age 36. I have almost no money due to medical debts and Google says I need to seek emergency veterinary care for her. I need someone else to help me drive her into the vet on Monday, March 24th, and will eat up the last of my money in doing so. Google stated that the average cost for her operation will be between $2000 to $4000 in my area, with the price increasing as her condition degrades. I called around for quotes and found this to be true, but right now her condition is still safe, but I can't guarantee that it will stay that way until I can finally bring her in on Monday. I don't qualify for Care Credit, have nothing for collateral to use to get a loan, and I have no one to fall back on for help, nor will the vets help unless I have the money. Please, I really need your help to save Meika. She means a lot to me and I sacrificed a lot just to keep her and make sure she's happy. She's all I have left from my late mother.
