Help Save Midnight, A Poisoned Rescue Dog!

Hi, my name is John. I'm raising funds for my son's four-year-old rescue dog Midnight. Earlier today, Midnight (a very curious boy) managed to get into a sealed bottle of acetaminophen and ate dozens of pills before my son Lucas could stop him. When my son found him, he was SO sick and had vomited multiple times. He immediately packed him into the car and drove him to a Vet ER while Midnight continued to vomit. Acetaminophen is poison to a dog's liver, and the vet (very expensive in San Francisco) induced vomiting and has him on an IV. There is a very high potential for liver damage and will likely require costly care and monitoring over the next few weeks. It will be up to a week before the real damage to his liver is known. And we simply don't have the funds to give him the care he needs.

Midnight is so playful and has been so full of life living with my son up until today. He had SUCH a hard and abusive life before my son adopted him and gave him a forever home. Please help us make "forever" years and not days.
