Help save Moses’ Life (from FIP)

Hi everyone! I am fundraising to save the life of Moses Fury our family cat. On Monday Moses was diagnosed with FIP (fetal infectious peritonitis). The antiviral medication GS-441524 is the only option we have to save his life, but it is extremely expensive. He will need a daily injection for a minimum of 84 days. In addition to the medication he will need repeat labs done every 4 weeks in order to monitor his progress & adjust his dosage if needed. He will also continue his steroids & anti-nausea medicine. Without this treatment Moses will die. Time is of the essence, cats with FIP decline rapidly & typically die within days or weeks of diagnosis.
I rescued Moses after he showed up in my yard looking for food & over the course of over a year I fed him daily, slowly building his trust & developing a bond with him. One day he missed his feeding, the following day he showed up with a severe injury to his eye. At that point I scooped him up & brought him inside. After seeing a vet & treating him with several antibiotics with no progress his eye ruptured & had to be surgically removed. Moses bounced back & recovered beautifully!! Out of nowhere he stopped eating & developed a huge hanging belly & was very lethargic & not feeling well. I took him back to the vet & after running many tests, doing ultrasound & X-rays Moses was diagnosed with FIP. This was devastating & heartbreaking. To see my sweet, strong warrior so sick & not be able to help him is more than my heart can bare.
ANY amount will help! Honestly, if enough people donated just $1 it would cover the cost of his treatment. We are beyond grateful for any amount you can give. In addition to this, I will also be posting flyers & doing several bake sales to raise the funding. This sweet boy chose me to rescue him & I will do everything in my power to save his life. He has braved 6 Michigan winters outside alone all on his own & the severe injury, infection, rupture & removal of his left eye. To say he is strong is an understatement.
