Help Save My Best Friend Wish
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Lydia and I am 20 years old. When I was 17, I became Wish’s Mom. Wish is my Make-A-Wish. When I was 11 years old I got diagnosed with Myelodysplastic syndrome, a life threatening illness that I have now beat. I needed chemotherapy, radiation and a bone marrow transplant. After years of treatments I was granted my Make-A-Wish.
I would like you to meet Wish. She’s my 2 year old French Bulldog. She has made my life joyful and complete. She’s my best friend, my daughter and I love her with my whole heart. Unfortunately she has to have life saving heart surgery. This is a very expensive surgery but it’s worth it if it means i’ll have her for a long life. The surgery will be on September 6th at The College of Veterinarians.
The Veterinarian estimates the cost of the surgery to be between $5,200-$6,500. I’m setting my goal as $6,500. If there is remaining funds after the surgery and Wish is recovered I will donate them to The Humane Society. If you’re able to donate, Wish and I would be very grateful for your help!
If you would like to follow Wish’s journey I will be keeping updates on her Instagram @wishthefrenchie
Thank you!
