Help save my house from auction & help with repairs!!

Hello, I'm Elise, a 69-year-old woman who worked hard all my life until I retired at 66. My only income is $1,264 per month from Social Security. Lately, due to medical issues, it's been increasingly difficult to make ends meet. I live in a house that I inherited from my parents, so I'm responsible for property taxes and repairs. Property taxes of $1,250 were due on 12/31/2024, but I've only paid $300 so far. I am afraid that if I don't pay this by 5/31/2025, the house that I've lived in since age 20 will be put up for auction. The house is 50 years old and needs a lot of work. Three years ago, Hurricane Ida took part of my roof, and subsequent wind storms have caused further damage. I cannot afford homeowners insurance. Roofs cost around $10,000-$15,000. I also need new soffit and fascia. Indoors, work is needed in several rooms due to water leaks as a result of the bad roof.
I do receive $185 a month in SNAP (food stamps), but it's not enough to last through the entire month—I don't have to tell you that $185 doesn't go far nowadays. My electric and water bills have been increasing since Hurricane Ida. I also have monthly medical bills as I have type 2 diabetes and various spinal problems, including a fractured thoracic vertebra, spinal stenosis, and herniated discs. If I was able to work, I would.
Never in my life would I have thought that I'd be in this difficult position and asking for help, but here I am. Anything would help! Thanks for your consideration. Have an awesome day!
