Chicago's Ash trees are infected by the Emerald Ash Borer, an invasive insect. This tree is one of them. Unless ashes receive a treatment Inoculation, they will die.
WE NEED OUR TREES. Trees clean and cool the air, beautify our streets, and boost our physical and mental health daily. Trees also remove carbon dioxide from the air, which helps mitigate the effects of global warming.
Your donation will be used to hire an arborist to treat ash trees that can still be saved. The cost for treating one tree is $150-$200, every two to three years. But any amount helps!
