Help save our Chihuahua

Hello,

Greg and I are raising funds to pay for medical bills for our baby Ginger, the kindest Chihuahua that has ever walked this earth that we love more than anything in the world. She initially needed a spine surgery and she was admitted in the ICU on Monday, July 10th with a lot of pain and without movement in the back legs, in which had suddenly gave out. We initially got a quote of close to $16,000 dollars. This morning we got an update that they found a big mass in her abdomen and it may be cancer. So now our baby needs to be checked before surgery and she may need emergency surgery to remove the mass first. So she now may need two surgeries, 2 ultrasounds, mri, overnight stays until biopsy is back, medications, etc.

A mass was found and she had to undergo emergency surgery because the MRI showed fluid was leaking from it. There will be 2 biopsies now because her liver wasn’t looking healthy and was enlarged. We are praying is not cancer.

Now our bill is close to $19,000. Ginger is our dogter as some of you may know.

Update: July 14th, 2023, Ginger survived the surgery and she is recovering really well. We are attempting to pick her up today. It will be a long recovery ahead. She had to get off the steroids for some time in order to help her heal from surgery. She finally ate today after 4 days with no appetite, so that’s excellent news.

Ginger has started rehab and in the past two weeks the progress has been incredible!
