Help save Gracie’s precious life

We adopted our sweet baby Gracie from Texas hurricane Harvey in 2017, all the way to Pennsylvania. Gracie is a Chiweenie Dachshund mix.

She is suffering from Stage 3 Mast Cell cancer and had her first surgery 8 months ago to remove a tumor that had burst open on her side. It was so hard to watch her in pain, but the doctors were confident that she would be OK.

Unfortunately, the tumor has grown back, not only in the exact same spot, but has spread mainly on her torso area, because when the first tumor had burst, it caused the cancer cells to spread throughout her body.

The Doctor removed 6 tumors this time, 5 on her torso and 1 under her neck. The surgery was more complicated and more expensive than we thought. We were told they only needed to remove 3 tumors but when they went in for surgery, they found a total of 6. The doctor said chemo would be necessary to extend and improve her quality of life.

My husband and I run a nonprofit organization that offers free programs for children with autism so money is limited.

We love Gracie more than anything and will do whatever we can to keep her happy and healthy. The money will be used for her chemo medication, which the doctor said she will need for the rest of her life, however short that may be. We would be forever grateful for any and all contributions.
