Help Save Pacific Beach minority owned Barber Shop
Hi all, and thank you in advance for taking the time out to read our page.
Today we are seeking donations to save Redd’s Barber Shop in Pacific Beach California opened back in 1950’s and recently taken over in 2017 with a new fresh take keeping the same values while remaining as of the oldest barber shop in our community. As you can imagine it’s been extremely rough for businesses during this time. Our barber shop has taken the biggest hit to date, and we’re fighting hard to keep our doors open to service the community and people we love so much. Sadly we were not fortunate enough to receive any loans or assistance. We did however receive a small grant in the amount of $3000. With trying times we have tried to remain flexible with keeping our community and customers safe but doing so has put a true financial strain on our barbers. Still we’re doing our best to push through our obstacles. With very little to no help, we’ve decided to turn to our community and you all to ask for help! Help keep our doors open.
Barber shops we’re not looked at as a necessity, but more of a luxury which is why many people in our profession didn’t get the help we truly needed. Barber shops are a true staple in the communities. But if we’re truly being honest, haircuts are essential to personal hygiene and mental health. As we all know feeling put together changes a persons mindset. And in today’s era that’s more important then ever. Please help us continue to service you and our community, thank you for your time.
