"HELP SAVE PAMEACHA POND"

Giving Thanks!!
With your help, we have successfully advocated to "Save Pameacha Pond" and will maintain this significant 19-acre waterbody and ecosystem and can now focus on forming a non-profit association, "Friends of Pameacha Pond". Pameacha Pond is classified as a lake and has been part of Middletown's history, growth, development and legacy for over 400 years. She is a thriving wetlands in the middle of an urban environment and home to a wide variety of birds, ducks, geese, fish, turtles and pollinators. Bald Eagles have returned to feed in Pameacha Pond and Monarch Butterflies sightings.
We are committed to her REVITALIZATION for showing years of neglect warranting strong lake management principles for cleanup and sediment control. We believe in her possibilities and Pameacha Pond is a true, natural gem and gift to the community for generations to come. We envision her future as a well-maintained, clean, vibrant community fishing pond with kayak/canoe boat access, a handicapped fishing pier, contemplative benches, and a meditation path/Labrinth.
We are asking for your donations to cover cost of supplies, mailings for a community education campaign, legal fee's, benches, pollinator plantings etc..
PLEASE JOIN "FRIENDS OF PAMEACHA POND" and be part of her Revitalization.
