Aloha, this GoFundMe is for a much beloved cat, Purricane Face Wirth.

Purricane recently had a heartbreaking accident, when he was hit by a car. We are reaching out to our caring community and animal lovers everywhere for support to give Purricane a fighting chance at a full recovery. He had to be flown to Oahu to get special treatment that is not available on Maui, and we are waiting day by day to see what is medically necessary in order to help heal him enough that he can come home.

About Purricane:

Purricane is an integral part of our Ohana. He brings endless joy and affection into our lives. His gentle purrs and vocal demands for kisses brighten our days and warm our hearts. Even the staff at the VCA Family and Oahu Veterinary Specialty Center is amazed at how sweet, gentle, loving, and incredibly handsome Purricane is. He is not just a cat, Purricane is a beloved family member who deserves every opportunity for a happy and pain-free life.

The Accident:

In a tragic turn of events, Purricane was involved in a car accident, leaving him with severe injuries to his pelvis, legs, and potentially his spine. Surgery is his best chance at a full recovery. Without it, it is uncertain what recovery will look like, but we do know it will be long and strenuous road. He will require ongoing medical care, but with your help, we can give him the chance he deserves to heal and thrive.
