Help Save Ray's Home!
Donation protected
Help Ray and his family save their home! Due to a recent terminal cancer diagnosis, the amount of time expected to pay off a repair loan has shrunk dramatically. This loan, a lien on the property jeopardizes Ray’s ability to leave the home to his children.
Raymond Antoncic is much loved and loyal father and a friend to everyone he meets! He is also a disabled Marine veteran. Ray was diagnosed with metastatic small cell lung cancer, which is terminal. He also suffered a Patellar Fracture (Broken Kneecap) while feeding the birds in his backyard just days before receiving the terminal diagnosis. Ray underwent both radiation and chemotherapy treatments, which ultimately had to stop due to a diagnosis of sever heart issues. Even with all this he is still living life to it's fullest!
Ray has touched the lives of many people and is always there for you and anyone who needs assistance in any way. Even opening his home to tourists from Germany, who he has a friendship with to this day!! Even with his diagnosis, Ray still continues to be there for family and friends!! NOW IS THE TIME TO BE THERE FOR HIM! Ray wants his boys to inherit the home as part of his legacy so memories can continue to be made in his honor when he does pass. Alex, Ray's youngest, received an academic scholarship from the Veterans War Orphans fund and a grant from The Ohio State University where he currently studies. Cory, his oldest son, graduated from Kent State University and planned on attending law school, however, given the diagnosis, Cory has chosen to stay at home, becoming Ray’s full-time caregiver. We are so proud of our dad, as is he of us!

Ray received an opportunity and took out loans for repairs needed on his home, which will be partially forgiven after five years. The organization offering the loan helps the elderly, disabled, and less fortunate community members. Due to current circumstances, there's a real possibility the loan- which is a lien on his home and due upon death, will force the sale of his home to repay this loan back. Please keep in mind this has nothing to do with the mortgage on the home- We are in need of paying off the lien and not being able to do so will completely defeat the purpose of why Ray took the loan in the first place- His dream of leaving it to his boys would be for nothing. Ray's intentions were to pay off these loans, but unfortunately with the cancer, the ability to do that has been taken away.
We are now asking everyone who knows him and who know Cory and Alex to help him by making a donation. So when his time comes he will be at peace knowing his home that he loves will still be in his family and not owned by a bank! Please our dad has always come through for those that needed him and now it's time to show him how much you appreciate him and all he has done over the years!! And you can show him that love while he is still with us by making a donation today!! If you are unable to donate then we appreciate spreading the word as well!
