Help Save Rhyannon, My Best Friend

Hi, my name is Xena Carpenter. I am a disabled dog trainer. I am raising funds for my service dog, Rhyannon, to have surgery on her right, front leg to remove what my Veterinarian, Dr. Janet Forer, believes is a soft tissue sarcoma around a nerve. This is an invasive cancer and can spread quickly to surrounding tissues. My veterinarian has asked for half the cost (up front) for surgery and the remainder over 3 months.

Rhyannon has been my service dog for the last 7 years, she has help raise and train many other service dogs and pet dogs, and has seen me through 3 surgeries in the last two years. Rhyannon and I lost Abby, my previous (retired) service dog to kidney failure unexpectedly just a few months ago. I am hoping we caught this in time to spare Rhyannon any pain in her future and to stop the spread of the cancer. She deserves a healthy fun retirement and it would break my heart if I can't pull her through this. Because of my 3 surgeries (two knee replacements and breast cancer) my funds are very low and I can't do this alone.
