Help Save Ronan: My Best Friend Desperately Needs Emergency
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart because my dog, Ronan, my absolute best friend and shadow, is in urgent need of life-saving surgery. Ronan herniated into his spinal cord, and his back legs are now paralyzed. We already went through one surgery, but tragically, his condition is getting worse. He’s lost deep feeling in his hind legs, and the vets are terrified that if we don’t proceed with a second surgery, the damage to his spinal cord will continue, putting him at risk of losing all mobility and even his ability to breathe.
Ronan isn’t just my dog—he’s my entire world. Anyone who knows me knows how inseparable we are. He’s my shadow, my writing buddy, and my constant companion through everything, including writing my books. Ronan’s been by my side for every chapter I’ve written, every triumph, and every heartbreak. He’s the sweetest, most loving dog, and I can’t imagine my life without him.
The first surgery cost $10,815. I didn’t have that kind of money, so I had to open a new credit card account in the emergency vet waiting room just to cover it. Now, Ronan needs a second surgery to address more herniations and look for blood clots. This surgery is estimated to cost between $3,500 and $5,000. His recovery will be long and expensive, with costly medications and physical therapy ahead, but right now, I’m just trying to keep him alive.
It’s incredibly hard to ask for help, but I’m desperate. I would do anything for Ronan. I’m humbly asking for any support you can offer, whether it’s donating, sharing this post, or simply sending us well wishes. Anything helps. I just want to give Ronan the fighting chance he deserves to stay by my side where he belongs.
Thank you so much for reading this, for caring, and for your kindness and generosity. It means the world to us.
With love and hope,
