Help Save South Bay Customs
Donation protected
Hello everyone
My name is Elvis Cortez and I am putting this campaign together to try and help save the live music venue South Bay Customs in El Segundo Ca. SBC has been a home to tons of bands, artist and locals providing a great live music venue experience and without corporate tentacles.
I was asked to play an acoustic event at SBC some years back and opened for punk legends Steve Soto ( Rip) , Kevin Seconds and Russ Rankin. I immediately fell in love with the venue and became fast friends with owner Michael Schreiber, Robin and the Chairman of the board "Hank" the dog. We began putting on shows together that hosted tons of great all ages events.
Fact is live music venues that are not controlled by corporate machines charging an arm and a leg to play , park or buy a drink are very rare and are disappearing. Spaces like this are important to help bands and artist start out, develop and grow a scene.
Guys I know times are super tough for all of us during this mass shift and stoppage of normal life. Currently Sbc is not allowed to have any kind of event big or small and its on the brink of closing for good. If you can help with a small donation I would really appreciate it but if you are having tough times yourself I totally understand and maybe you can share this link so maybe someone who can make a small donation will because of your sharing. Thanks guys for your time and help. :) EC
