Help save & Spay and Neuter Cats in La Crosse and Galesville

Donation protected
I am looking to finally start a rescue, which costs quite a bit of money for lawyers, accountant to ensure it’s set up properly. But first and most importantly right now it’s kitten season and we have 3 mommas we see on camera.

background: It’s been 3-4 years now of helping find, rescue, vet, and take care of sick, feral, domestic cats in the La Crosse area. If you have seen or know of something I have done, please comment on the GoFundMe to show others.

I recently moved to Galesville, WI, and quickly found that there are far more out here also. We are now feeding, monitoring, and trapping at La Crosse and Galesville.

In the last few years we have helped many cats get to the Humane Society to be vetted whether they can go to homes, but we have found out that even the nice ones are being let out back in that neighborhood after being spayed or neutered. While I know the shelters aren’t for every cat, we have trapped some again, socialized them, and found them homes where they lived out their happy lives!

I am currently seeking monetary donations, volunteers with training, veterinarians to partner with for TNR, buying isolation kennels, advice on what to do and not do, help in establishing a 501c3, and everything in between!

I’m overwhelmed right now with trapping cats and getting them the spay or neuters at $130/cat.

I currently have 2 kittens who are bonded twins that we caught on our porch. They were sick with upper respiratory issues, conjunctivitis, worms, fleas, and frostbite so bad they lost ears. Their vet bill alone was $1060 for the initial care as emergency visits and $136 for vaccines and spay and neuter. The vet who did the spay and neuter doesn’t do them often, and the new vet we have said $130/cat but no preventative stuff will be done for health or vaccines.

We also found a vet for roughly $100/cat but she has very limited availability. Hopefully vaccination and revolution plus will be as to be given but we do not know how lengthy she will go.

We recently have caught the black and white one whom I believe the humane society has up for adoption and we caught another male who had upper respiratory issues and an injury. In Galesville there are at least 3 pregnant cats we have seen on camera now and upwards of 20 when talking to multiple neighbors who aren’t claiming any of them, just in Galesville. I have called and asked for help, but I’m coming up with no one who seems to want to help or they can’t seem to take them outside of the two days and 4 hrs they are open which makes it difficult when we have cats and kittens here too.

I will gladly provide receipts to anyone who wants to see them to prove the money is going for them.

Please help in any way and please message me if they can help professionally and voluntarily, etc.

Done the line should I have the volunteers and help I have a basement in my house that we can finish off for vet services to be in house then clean enough for isolation care. I have an insulated and heated pole shed with a propane tank that could be converted into a sanctuary should we have people to engineer design, build, and plan all of that, but we need money for materials.

right now all $ will go to spay/neutering first.

Thank you!
