I’m currently fighting to save Studio Sevvven, a space that is deeply important to our community. However, this battle comes with substantial costs, alongside a complete loss of income for me. Your support during this challenging time can make a huge difference in preserving this valuable space.

The actual cost of this process is likely to be significantly more than the fundraising goal (see breakdown below). However, I wanted to start this journey with a figure that feels reasonably achievable. While it’s still a lot to aim for, every contribution—no matter the size—helps immensely in this difficult journey.

Please note that I have not factored in personal living expenses, loss of earnings, or an income for myself. My sole focus is saving Studio Sevvven. Anything raised beyond that will be a much-needed bonus.

I have also accounted for approximately £2,000 raised already thanks to generous donations and purchases on the Studio Sevvven website.

*It is impossible at this early stage to predict the actual cost of legal fees. It is entirely dependant on how the process goes and how long it takes. I have calculated this estimate based on approximately 30 hours of legal support, but it could more or less than that.

NOTE: Additionally to the above costs, I am going to be required to make some changes to the studio in order to minimise disruption to neighbours ongoing, primarily in the form of soundproofing. I am currently in conversation with my landlord about payment for this work, but it is likely I will be facing contributions of up to £8,000. Any funds raised through this platform above the target amount, may be used for this purpose.
