Help Save Sweet Baby Kiya Mini Horse

Kiya is a 9 month old miniature filly.  She is a very intelligent baby with a heart of gold! Isn’t she precious here with her favorite toy? Yes, she loves toys! She is so gentle with all people and animals that she meets. Her owner has already taught her tricks and she is eager to learn more! And, she is an integral part of an all-volunteer equine therapy program that works mostly with teenagers and cancer patients. This little horse is especially loved by the teens that are part of this program!

 

Unfortunately, Kiya has a congenital birth defect that did not resolve as she has grown up, and she now requires immediate surgery to correct it. Her owner is a cancer patient with a limited income, and she is struggling with raising funds for the surgery needed to save this precious little life so that Kiya can live a long life helping others overcome their challenges. It is estimated that the surgery will cost about $3000 and the success rate is high.
