Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts but hopeful spirits. TEAKO, our beloved bubble tea café at 1279 Gerrard St E, is at risk of closing its doors. Due to financial challenges, we’ve fallen behind on rent and are facing pending disconnection from Toronto Hydro. Despite our best efforts, we’re struggling to keep up with mounting bills while continuing to serve the neighborhood we love.

Since opening, TEAKO has been more than just a café—it’s been a place where friendships bloom over boba, students find a cozy corner to study, and families share sweet moments together. We’ve poured our hearts into building this small business, but now we need your help to keep it alive.
