Post 310 float maintenance fund...PRESERVING HISTORY
Donation protected
The American Legion Post 310 in Racine Wisconsin is the proud custodian of the original "BOYS OF 76" parade float dating back to 1920. It is in fact the oldest know Veterans Float in the country. As you can guess, being over 100 years old, it is in need of some major restoration. The mechanical restoration process is underway thanks to great community support. we also need to address the deteriorating uniforms that have been patched together for decades. Our goal is to raise enough money to start replacing these uniforms with PERIOD CORRECT reenactment uniforms the cost of which has skyrocketed. Your continued support is deeply appreciated.
