Help save the Charlottetown Tool library
Donation protected
It has been a rough year. As you may or may not know our founder Daniel Cousins has often picked up the slack in funding to cover the rent of the CTL. In February they had a health scare and have been dealing with the fallout from that it has put them in a financial strain and left them unable to cover the Tool Library's costs. We have fallen behind on the rent and need to sure up our account. A little over $1000 is needed to pay off our rent.
The Charlottetown Tool Library offer a wide range of tools for all kinds of jobs, from home repair, DIY, preserving and crafting. in addition to tools the Tool Library offers support to community groups when needed and public workshops on a variety of topics. The Charlottetown Tool Library also maintains and helps organize Repair Cafe PEI events.
We know that times are tough for everyone and costs have been rising for everything. As Daniel has said many times the ideal goal of the Tool Library is that it be a free service. Right now we are uncertain of our future and would like to thank anyone who has supported us in the past and can support us at this time.
The additional funds are going to be used to help keep us afloat this summer as we evaluate how to move forward and look into new options.
