Help Save the Gravity Discovery Centre and Observatory
The Gravity Discovery Centre and Observatory Needs Your Support.
The Gravity Discovery Centre and Observatory (GDCO) is a unique and much loved astronomy, science tourism and Aboriginal culture hub located just an hour north of Perth. Our centre, along side the 'Leaning Tower of Gingin' made famous by YouTube sensations, How Ridiculous, attracts thousands of visitors each year, who explore interactive exhibits and wonder at the night sky with our regular stargazing experiences. Aboriginal Culture is an integral part of who we are and what we offer.
But now we need your help.
Due to the unexpected loss of a $100,000 grant the GDCO is facing serious financial strain. This funding helped keep our programs running, maintain our facilities and support our passionate team who bring experiences to life every day.
Without urgent support our ability to deliver the high quality experiences that inspire so many and spark curiosity is at risk.
We are asking our community - everyone who has visited, loved, learned and been inspired by the GDCO to help us continue our mission. Whether its $10 or $100, every donation helps us keep our doors open, our tower climbed and our telescopes pointed at the stars.
Your donation will help:
- Keep our centre and observatory open to the public
- Maintain exhibits and telescopes
- Support science tourism and Aboriginal culture
- Keep our small team of guides, astronomers and volunteers going strong.
If you believe in the power of science tourism, aboriginal culture and the wonders of stargazing then please consider donating and sharing our campaign.
Thank you for helping is to continue to reach for the stars.
