Save the Great Doddington Club!

The Great Doddington Club has been at the heart of our community for over a century. It’s where the village comes together to spend time with loved ones, catch up with neighbours, and enjoy a drink while admiring the amazing view of the valley.

Unfortunately, the club is in dire need of funds to keep it running. The kitchen has a leak, the flat needs repairs, and we are not able to meet our running cost commitments.

Right now, we can’t even afford to buy more beer or pay for any staff. In the following weeks, we will be running purely through the efforts of amazing and committed volunteers from the community.

The money raised will go towards:

- Carrying out repairs

- Restocking the bar

- Securing the club's future as a self-sufficient venue for the community

- Replace old and worn-out equipment.

There has recently been an overhaul of the committee. New members with backgrounds from different trades have come together to turn this club around. It’s been fantastic to see a real community spirit, with everyone working towards the same goal of keeping the club open so we can all enjoy the place that we love.

With a cash injection, we believe we can make the club profitable again so we can keep it running for our community.

We know that times are hard for many people right now but if you are able, we would really appreciate a donation to keep our club going. It’s going to take some time, but together, we can make it work!
