Help Save the Parrot at Good’s Store in East Earl

Hi my name is Kristen and I recently found out this poor macaw parrot was left behind by his family. He is currently being sold at Good’s Feed store in East Earl PA for $1900. I called and spoke with a store, and they advised me that he is 20 years old and his family could not take him with them when they moved because they no longer had the room. These birds are highly sensitive, temperature changes, not receiving the correct nutrients with food and much more. He is obviously not receiving the care he needs, as you can see he has begun to pluck his feathers. I have Feathered Friends sanctuary out of Lancaster Pennsylvania ready to take this bird into their care however they are not able to pay the price this amish store is asking which is $1900. This GoFund me was created by myself to aid in the financial need to rescue this bird, as I am unable to provide the entire amount on my own. Once a goal is reached, I will go to the store and transport, the bird to feathered friends please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns, all money will be refunded if we are unable to secure the bird. I am in contact with the store to confirm he is still onsite and trying to get them to agree to hold him formme!
