Help save Tipsy’s leg

Hi everyone, I am fundraising to save my kitty Tipsy’s leg.
On February 23rd, 2024, someone that I trusted viciously attacked my sweet cat, Tipsy, breaking her femur. Tipsy’s injury requires surgery to repair with the cost being between $6300 and $7500. The only other (more affordable option) would be to remove her leg. The problem with that is, that my sweet girl also suffers from Wobbly Cat Syndrome (cerebellar hypoplasia). This condition affects her balance and agility. I am afraid that, because of her condition, losing her leg would immobilize her and severely affect her quality of life.
I am not one to ask for help and certainly not one to expect handouts. I do not qualify for Care Credit. I have tried reaching out to a few foundations for help with no luck on that front yet.
My kids and I are heartbroken and also shaken up from this whole ordeal. I have filed a police report and will be going to the courthouse on Monday to get an emergency restraining order to protect myself, my 3 kids, and my sweet kitty. The cops told me that I had given them more than enough information to pursue animal cruelty charges against the individual responsible.
I have already spent $700 for her x-rays, pain medication, and cast while also changing my locks so this individual does not have access to my home anymore.
Any help at all is greatly appreciated. If someone has advice or can point me toward a foundation that can help, and help quickly, my kids and I would be forever grateful.
Her appointment with the surgeon is Monday, 2/26/24.
