HELP X ESCAPE ABUSIVE FAMILY FOR GOOD

Hello everyone My name is X. I’m 19 and I’ve been living in an extremely abusive house hold. I’ve been going in and out of shelters because of this since I was old enough to leave (16). I have been okay for the last few months but now my abuser has made multiple threat to my life. This is a new thing however police haven’t been helpful and have refused to take my statement on the site multiple times and have told me to go to the police station the next day which by that time I would be convinced by other people complicit that it was my fault. Sometimes I was made to lie by the time the cops got there and whenever we say we are gonna call the threats get worse and I don’t want to rely on police wait times.  This has been the cycle for years of my life and it has completely destroyed my mental health as well has led me into heavy use of alcohol which I’m struggling with currently.  Finances have been what has kept be in this cycle. I want to finally get on my feet and move out without having to look back. I’m currently finishing highschool and planning on applying for university in the winter of 2021, I don’t want this to get into the way of the chance to finally live my life without fear and freely.
