A heart of gold stopped beating

Dear Friends and Family of Andy,

I am reaching out to you for your support, donations, and the request to share this fundraiser.

On April 12th our beloved Andy received a liver transplant with high hopes of the immeasurable gift of a second chance of life. On April 13th he was rushed back to the operating room, putting his body through a second intense operation. Within one month he had five additional surgeries. He developed an infection putting his body into septic shock. His kidneys weren’t functioning prior to his transplant, which interfered with his recovery, everyone had hope they would turnaround after the liver transplant, but they didn’t, so he required constant dialysis, taking most of his energy needed for recovery. With being intubated for nearly the entirety of his remaining time, he couldn’t talk to us or see his daughters.

After his two month-long medical journey, on May 22nd, Andy went into cardiac arrest falling on the anniversary of his best friend Daniel’s (Bones) funeral on May 22nd, 2020. He will be so missed and loved from our two daughters, friends and family.

His memory is our treasure.
