Help Scena Beat Cancer

Hello! My name is Shakela and I am Scena's oldest daughter. Thank you for stopping by. Not very often do you find a person who truly has an inspiring soul. Someone who can light up a room when she walks in, who will go the extra mile for a stranger. That person would be our beautiful Mother Scena. A loving caretaker, a wonderful daughter, an extraordinary friend, a fantastic entertainer and all around glowing soul. In November 2022 Scena received a devastating diagnosis: stage 3 cervical cancer. This mother of five in a month would become a grandmother. Our family couldn’t wrap our heads around this. How could this be right? How can the doctors be giving so little hope? Mom was given the option of radiation and chemo and declined due to spiritual beliefs and studies of post-treatment side effects. With the insurance company not covering a holistic treatment, and Mom not being able to work during her busiest season, this leaves Mom in a situation that no one should ever face alone, especially dealing with cancer. She was able to manage these past eight months on a protocol developed close to the Gerson Therapy, but wasn't able to get the cancer to shrink enough on her own. She is entering a new protocol with a care team of holistic providers that we believe will cure her. She needs help with her basic living expenses for the next three months, the cost of her care team, supplements, and alternative treatments. There will be a time she will have to travel for some of her care as well. This has been devastating for her, but she is fighting for her family and the ability to share her passion for holistic health with others.
