Hello, friends!
I am here today to write to you about a very loved individual, Schlee Schwinghammer.
Schlee was born with a liver condition (Congenital hepatic fibrosis With genetic testing showing a-1 antitrypsin with MS phenotype) that recently has become urgent in it’s need to be addressed. While she is preparing to receive a part of a new liver, it is also causing a pleural effusion around her lungs, requiring that she gets fluid removed from them once a week just to function.
This has, understandably, caused a great strain on her body, which is making it challenging for her to move and to work enough hours.
It is rare that I have met someone so quick to help others, give love, offer compassion. Schlee is someone who works tirelessly to make sure her friends and loved ones are taken care of emotionally and financially in the past. She is a very generous sort of person and I believe she is deserving of that generosity in return.
If you donate, your funds will be helping her to afford her very strict diet (required for her liver health and effusion), her ability to receive the care she needs, and assist in her being able to take time off of work so she can continue to heal properly.
Any amount would be greatly appreciated and every little bit helps immensely.
