Help School In Bodomase, Ghana
Going to my mother’s home town, Bodomase, not only got me in touch with my roots, but also made me understand a little more about my mother and who she was. Being in Bodomase, Ghana, spending time with family, learning about my heritage and walking around the town, I could not help but be thankful and appreciative of where I come from.
Growing up in Canada, things such as education and going to school in a building with books and resources was something that was at my disposal. Unfortunately, I can not say the same for some of the children in Bodomase. My visit to Bodomase D/A primary school, I saw classrooms the sizes of bathrooms, a lack of resources such as pencils and notebooks, chairs, as well as desks and a building with no roof.
Despite the circumstances, that these students find themselves in, their spirits are active and full of life, ready to soak up everything their teachers will teach them.
This why I decided to set up this go fund me. I am seeking your help in raising funds to secure resources that these energetic kids need to excel in life. The desired financial goal for this project $3000 CAD, which will be used in providing books, pencils, chairs and other materials that will assist in the education of these bright young minds.
All funds raised through this project will be sent to a dedicated bank account for this school.
Thank you for your help.
