Help Scott Brandon Defeat Cancer

Three years ago, Scott Brandon, was diagnosed with colon cancer. After major surgery and weeks in the hospital, he was told he was cancer free. A few months ago, during a regular screening, he was told it had not only come back, but it was more severe than the previous diagnosis.
Scott is a loving father of two children, Jessica and Corey, and a devoted husband to his wife, Colette. They, and the rest of Scott's family, were devastated by this news.
It has been a roller coaster experience for everyone close to Scott. He had an rare adverse reaction to the radiation and, as a result, had to undergo a much more aggressive chemotherapy treatment. Following ups and downs with chemo and steroids, he will soon need multiple surgeries to save his life, including a colectomy.
Scott was accepted to the Mayo Clinic, and his family could not be happier for the opportunity to have Scott treated at the best cancer hospital in the country. This opportunity does not come without cost, though. The colectomy alone will cost the family thousands to cover the deductible, stay, and the stay for his wife while they are in Minnesota, on top of the costs they have already accrued. He will also need follow up surgeries only a few months after, which being in the new year, will have a new deductible. The first surgery falls the week of Christmas, so Scott and his wife will also be halfway across the country during the holiday. As tough as it will be for them to be away from family and friends during such a difficult time, his family is grateful that he is getting care at the Mayo Clinic. This gives him the best chance for survival and a chance to live his life happily with his family.
Scott has always worked hard to support his family. He is an active member of his community and church and a dedicated husband, father, and son. Scott always has a smile on his face and, in spite of everything he is going through in his life, has a positive outlook for the future. Let's pull together to help him defeat cancer and give his family the chance to spend many more years with such a wonderful man.
