Help Scott fulfill his wish

Hi my name is Juanitta and I am fundraising for my friend Scott who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

In 2009 Scott met the love of his life, a single mum with a young son. Over the years Scott and Jenni, like most couples, have had their ups and downs. The last few years they have been focused on their sons mental health diagnosis and helping him navigate life with his illness, little did any of us know that this beautiful family was about to face their biggest down.

In July 2021 Scott went in for a routine hernia surgery, during surgery they discovered fluid which they tested. The test results came back with there is cancer somewhere in his body. In September 2021 Scott went in to have a colonoscopy to see if they could find the cancer, it was found and it wasn’t good. Scott has now been diagnosed with stage 4 terminal bowel cancer which has spread into his stomach. Unfortunately they will not be able to operate which has obviously left Scott and his family and close friends devastated. He is able to have chemotherapy which will lengthen his valuable time with all of his family and friends but how much longer we really don’t know. The only wish Scott has is to finally marry the love of his life Jenni.

Scott is currently struggling with large amounts a pain which is now hospitalising him every few days. Just a couple days ago while in hospital again with pain they did scans and have found the cancer has gotten larger.

With Scott being the main bread winner of the family and having to stop interstate truck driving and his soon to be wife Jenni having to cut back on hours with her job to help Scott, the financial strain is already hard on them both. I’ve started this go fund me as a small way to try and help ease some of the financial pressure this beautiful family will be enduring with travel, appointments, tests and everyday life so they can focus on helping Scott through this horrible disease.
