Help Scott Overcome Medical Challenges
Donation protected
Scott is a man that is used to being on the side of helping others, capturing photos of nature or going rock hounding and find mother nature's beauty. He's never wanted the spot light on him at any time. He's the one to step up and help out. But this time he is fighting for his life and this battle will be a tough one. He's been diagnosed with Retroperitoneal Fibrosis and IgG4 two extremely rare diseases that could take his life if untreated in a year's time. There's only 1 treatment known around the County/world just recently. Rituximab infusion treatments along with prednisone and some other meds that help his body except the drug with a less chance of going into shock. With many Specialists to see and make sure his kidneys continue to work, his heart not to be blocked by the scar tissue that is wrapped around his abdominal aorta and growing he will be on a continuous journey of another kind now. We've done 2 treatments of many more to come. He's also had with this overwhelming disease a major case of stop breathing while trying to sleep. After a sleep study test, he finished at the top of the class (a place he didn't want to be at) 56 times he stopped breathing and his oxygen sats were as low as 62. He's in the warrior fight for his life. As to be expected the medical costs and fuel just to get him to these life saving appointments have added up and has cleaned out our accounts. We know that this is our battle, and so many others are in our hearts and prayers while fighting their battles. But if by chance you are able to lend a hand and are able to donate without hurting your own selves. We would be forever humbled and grateful. We've stressed ourselves out trying to put our pride aside to ever ask for help. But with a heavy heart, we're there now..
Thank you all for your continued prayers and support.
