Help Scott's Jazz Club to Grow

Scott's Jazz Club was created by Cormac, Scott and Richard, three self employed musicians. In January 2024 it won an award for contribution to the arts in East Belfast.
Belfast did not have a dedicated Jazz club, so we wanted to create a professional space for the best Jazz musicians to play to a listening audience.
We also wanted to invite international artists to come as well as helping up and coming artists to develop their craft.
We have held the concerts every Friday night since 2020. We hire the room, artists, provide the equipment, operate the sound, lights, projections, box office, hosting, admin and marketing.
Over the past four years it has become a vital part of the jazz scene in Ireland and the only regular music concert in East Belfast.
We have run it at our own risk since 2020 with practically no funding and mostly at our own cost. Sadly everything is just getting more expensive.
This campaign seeks to achieve the following aim
1 . To keep Scott's Jazz Club running for the next year in a world of rising costs.
We have set up a not for profit registered company called 'Live Under Giants' with an independent board of directors to oversee all financial matters and ensure any funds raised are used solely for their intended purpose.
To keep Scott's Jazz Club running -
52 concerts a year cost £119,800
Average ticket sales income is £54,600
We are looking to raise £65,200
