Help Sean Stanton save his draft horse mare
Donation protected
Fundraising for Sean Stanton of North Plain Farm.
On Sunday night, Sean's horses got loose and his beloved mare, Tess, was hit by a car.
Fortunately, the vets believe that Tess will recover with a surgery to remove a bone fragment.
Surgery is estimated to run between $3,000-$5,000.
Winter is the hardest season on a farm, with no cushion to absorb a major unplanned expense. If Sean loses Tess, he may lose both horses, as their bond is so strong, and they are a draft team.
So many of us have enjoyed hayrides with this majestic pair of horses, a treasured part of many town events.
Time for the community to rally around these beautiful animals and Sean and his farm that has provided so much to all of us.
