Help Secure Home for Solo Mom & 2 Kids After Layoff

Hello,

I am a solo mom of 2 amazing children. Two months ago, I was part of an unexpected reduction in force where I was employed for the last 3 years. I received 2 weeks of severance for 3 years of service. My severance has now been depleted as it was used on rent, food and bills.

I spend my days and nights completing job applications and networking in hopes to secure a full-time job immediately. Because so many people have suffered layoffs, I am now competing with thousands of people for a job.

It is extremely difficult to post this however I am at a loss as to how to move forward without employment or financial help. I do not have family for support. I have not asked for financial help until now. I have always managed to get back on my feet again even during previous layoffs. I am now in fear of losing my home.

Your support will secure my current home for my children and I for the next 4 months. This will allow me to avoid eviction and also allow me to focus on job seeking and interviews to secure a job as soon as possible.
