Hi! I'm Jennifer Teie, Founder of The Green Room Social Club.

I'm raising funds to put the Club into the hands of the Community. In the past almost four years, the Club has earned its place as Downtown Placerville's premiere live music and event venue. The time has come to circle the wagons; to bring our community together and collectively take the reigns to keep the Club alive and growing well into the future.

Funds raised will be used to accomplish the purchase and transfer of 251 Main Street and the GRSC into the hands of a Community Managed Co-Op. The most immediate need is to raise $800,000. Those interested in becoming an investor in the Real Estate - please reach out direct. This GoFundMe is to gain traction and awareness of the opportunity.

Funds raised through GoFundMe will be utilized for direct expenses in relation to production and live events, including supporting Downtown Placerville street closure events.

The Green Room Social Club
  • Managed by one full time unpaid Ambassador (Founder Jenn Teie)
  • Employs six part time paid Event Managers.
  • Contracts three to six Audio/Video/Lighting Technicians as Independent Contractors
  • Produces over 400 events per year. (corrected-not 12000!))
  • Pays out over $140,000 to Independent Artists and Production costs.
  • Creates a local economic impact in excess of $900,000 annually.
  • Partners with local Non Profits and Youth Groups to raise funds and bring awareness to important causes within our community.

Needs for Equipment and Repairs:
Repair, Replace, & Upgrade Sound, Lighting, & Tech Equipment

All of these objectives and goals come with a price, and yet the end result is priceless. Proving that a home grown Independent Venue can survive, thrive, and be backed by its community.

With your small or large contribution, The Green Room Social Club can achieve its mission and become the first Community Owned and Operated Venue of its kind. Every bit counts and adds up to the greater goal.
As for donations, sponsorships, and contributions made if we don't meet our HUGE goal to pay off the mortgage, keep this in mind -
A contribution of $150 pays for an Audio/Video/Lighting Technician or Event Host.
A contribution of $300 pays for programming for one night.
A contribution of $500 pays for a solo performance.
A contribution greater than $500 makes a huge impact!
A contribution greater than $1000 earns the undying love, affection, and thanks from countless Artists, Musicians, and Performers!
A contribution greater than $10,000 makes you an ANGEL!
Invest in the building and the GRSC mission with $25,000 minimum.

The deadline to fund our greatest need of $750,000 to buy the building is May 1, 2025. Without that, GRSC will become a faded memory.

The number $1,250,000 is the value of the entire building and business of GRSC. Should there be a buyer out there for the full amount, we would have to consider that offer.

The three vested founders and investors are willing to hold their combined investment should we achieve the initial raise of $800,000 to fund the mortgage payoff. More information is available to potential investors with a pledge of $25k or more. Together we can achieve more!
