Help secure the future of Ashford United Football Club!
We hope that everyone reading this is both safe and well in these uncertain times. It's challenging times for everybody and of course health must come first. With that in mind we accept the league's decision to void the season, but of course with that comes consequence.
With the club having no home fixture since 29th February 2020, and all functions at Homelands Stadium (such as weddings, parties, etc) being cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have no income currently coming in but still have lots of outgoings with electricity, water, pitch maintenance and ground maintenance to name a few.
As well as being an asset to the local community, we as a football club look to launch an academy for 16-19 year olds. It's currently due to start in September 2020 with an aim of providing both education and a direct pathway into the first team.
Any donations taken will be greatly appreciated and will go directly to keeping the club running and will help towards next season. To launch our GoFundMe page we were asked to set a target of how much we would like to raise. In all honesty we have no target but of course we are grateful for absolutely anything that the great people of Ashford can spare. If we did manage to hit the target which we set that would be absolutely superb, and anything over that would be incredible.
