Help secure York bird of prey centre future!

We are York Bird of Prey Centre, home to over 90 birds of prey. We have been here for over 11 years with thanks to consistent contributions from the amazing public and our fantastic volunteers! Our ethos and passion is Birds of Prey, education and conservation, which we are very highly regarded for.

However due to recent unforeseen circumstances we are having to move location for the welfare and stability of the birds. We need to rebuild all of our aviary's and facilities from scratch. As you may or may not already know, we run entirely off the back of our ticket/ experience sales, outside shows and our onsite cafe/shop, not to mention the generous donations and sponsorships from you guys! No government grants or investors. Despite this we strive to give our birds the highest standards of care and will continuously do so.

In order for us to carry on our passion through birds, education and conservation, we are trying to raise funds to allow us to relocate. We are very grateful and warmed by the prolonged support we have received from the public over the years, and because of that reason we feel we cannot close our doors to the public and therefore let you down. We feel it is our duty to you, to rebuild 'the peoples centre' against all odds. We are overjoyed to say we have already found a suitable and permanent location not too far away. However, the cost of the move and limited time constraints are a concerning factor to us but we believe with your help and support we can build and obtain a new falconry centre in order to continue our and your passion..
