Help Selwyn After Wildfire Loss

I am writing on behalf of Selwyn, a father, friend, and longtime Altadena community member. On Wednesday January 8th, he tragically lost his house to the Eaton wildfire. When he was ordered to evacuate the area, he never could have imagined that it would be the last time he saw his home standing. Not only were many of his material possessions lost in the flames, but also the setting for some of the most formative memories he had made — including raising his family — dating back to when he moved to the house in May of 1987. Selwyn recently started a new chapter in his life, but no one was prepared for how drastically things would change. During this period of displacement, he is asking for assistance with short-term necessities, as well as with healing and support in the near future. Any bit you can give will make a huge difference.
