Help Send Deshawn Home

On the morning of October 12th, our friend Deshawn Crawford tragically passed.

If you knew him even only a little, you saw what a big personality he had, and so maybe you understand the hole he's left in many hearts.

If you knew him a lot, you'll feel this pain with us for a long time.

Deshawn was born and raised in the Bronx, and that is where his family wishes to return him. This GoFundMe is to help his family bring him home.

We will be holding a memorial here in Pittsburgh on October 26th, from 12:30-3:30pm at Deer Lakes Park, Minnow 2 Shelter—Crayfish Dr, Tarentum, PA 15084. His family in NYC will be holding a funeral the same day.

Instead of bringing or sending flowers for the memorial, PLEASE consider donating here ahead of time so the family is able to hold the kind of funeral Deshawn deserves.

The estimated cost of transportation and other expenses was originally $4500, but we've since had to increase it to $6000. All funds will be going directly to Deshawn's family, specifically his sister Delease Jenkins, in order to relieve the pressure of financing a funeral for a loved one.
